Dynamic DNS service recommendations

Hi all
Many moons ago I used dyndns.org, as it was free. I see now it is a paid for service.
Are there any free services still available that is recommended?

You do have to click on a link every 30 days to keep it active. You get a email every month with a reminder and then after it will expire (it will be active again once you click the link)

You don't perhaps have a device that already has DDNS capabilities?

To give you an idea on Mikrotik:

XX.sn.mynetname.net and I get my IP where XX I get from the device.

Been using them for years.

Having to push the buttons every 30 days is a fair arrangement imo.

If they are on Afrihost there is a built-in DDNS already username.ip.afrihost.co.za
