Anyonwe have a clue how to do it i have had dynamic dns on dialup.. ??

but how do you get the router to update the ip

The router itself must have DDNS support (Dynamic DNS) so check in the manual or forums to check if the router has this support.

I'll be very surprised if it doesn't have - check that you have the latest firmware.

Yes the 7202G has Dynamic DNS support ---page 77 (4.3.7.2) in the manual.

Have you registered with a DDNS provider? Probably if you have used this before on dialup!?!? Enter your router configuration through Internet Explorer. When you're in, Click on CONFIGURATION then on ADVANCED then on DYNAMIC DNS. Here you can ENABLE DDNS, select your DDNS Server and input your username and password of your account with one of the DDNS Servers.
I am using it with www.dyndns.org and it works like a charm!
Hope this helps!

THanks guys I have found the manual for the router on the aussie site cause the www.billionsa.com didnt have it..

Will set it up tonight....
