Dynamic Dns

Hi

Can anyone advise on the use of a Dynamic Dns solution in South Africa, Is it reliable. Also can you assist in providing a recommendation of a reliable service provider within SA or abroad even.

Just create a free account at www.dyndns.com. It's reliable, it'll give you access to 2 free hostnames, there are many subdomains to choose from and its supported by most routers.

There are local Dynamic DNS providers, but they're not free AFAIK.

Happy with dyndns. Most routers allow you to configure an account on it so no need to run 3rd party scripts.

dyndns.co.za is hosted locally, which is an advantage, but the international counterpart is prob more reliable.

When I do an MTR to dyndns.co.za, I get international IPs.
