So we're running CRM and GP, the two has to integrate. Some custom stuff on CRM needs to go through to GP etc, but the developer says that Scribe only gives them space for 2 entities (whatever that means, I assume 2 XML entities each time I ask them to explain) and that there is at least 4 that needs to go from CRM to GP to full integrate, so round-trips are required which slows the entire task down.

Is anyone here knowledgeable enough in Scribe and CRM -> GP integration to let me know if what I just said makes any sense or are we getting the wool pulled over our eyes just because we do not possess the skillset for Scribe (yet)

I've done GP integration (mostly invoice batches, ACB batches, GL reporting etc.) before, but that was from our own developed systems. Don't know Scribe at all unfortunately. But they do pride themselves on being 'The Leader in CRM Integration'. So maybe kick the developer's @ss and tell him to do his job. :)

Yea I very much doubt the developer knows much about developing, spun some crap about how CRM isn't customizable and this is why it is the way it is (for our price lists as well) but then saw some custom windows they made in CRM. This project wasn't cheap either, yet there's NO client-side error checking (like if a field is required), so some integrations fail because the user didn't complete the form correctly, and they didn't do that correctly because CRM somehow is incapable of client-side error checks (I say CRM, I mean this company that does the dev work)
