Dyness or Hubble Lithium batteries for backup solution?

Yeah it's a consideration if space is an issue.

Here's Snyper's Hubble compared to my Dyness (sorry it's the only 2 pics I could quickly find on the forum). The inverter would be the point of reference...

Sorry for replying on an old thread Im looking at installing 2 x dyeness bx51100 5kw battries with an 8kw deye inverter. But wondering about the 0.5c rating of the batteries. What has your experience been with your setup?

Are they worth it at 26k a battery or should I look at a 1c 5kw battery instead?

The 0.5C is only a real issue if:
  1. You have 1 battery and need to draw more than 50% of its power during LS
  2. You need more than 50% of the banks total power during loadshedding
If you can answer yes to one or both of the above then its worth getting a 1C battery.

Since you are getting 2 batteries - would you need to draw more than 5kw during loadshedding?

Edit: Other than that - Dyness is a decent reliable brand

Ok cool, thanks for the feedback. One more question is the dyeness batteries then worth it since you can only use 5kw on a 10kw system since two batteries essentially cost 52k?

I do see you can run them to 75% max discharge which means two would be equal to 6.4kw or am I wrong?

DOD should be 80% for Dyness batteries - you might be able to push them to 85%

The question of worth is one only you can answer i am afraid. To me they are but that's because im already invested in the ecosystem - when i was buying the options were slim - Pylontech, Dyness, FreedomWon, Hubble. Now there are a lot more options including Shoto, Greenrich, Deye, Cyclone, Sunsynk, etc

That's discharge power, so you can run each one at 3.8 kW in short bursts. Or 2.55 kW (0.5C) continuously. You're confusing kW (power) with kWh (storage).

On the 48100 the BMS allows you to discharge it to 85-87%. It might be more on the 51100...
