I see F.face Vice-chancellor Makoba’s of UKZN’s program of sabotage is proceeding apace. I wonder how long it is that an institution can continue to call itself a ‘university’? UKZN is still academically superior to a kindergarten, but that may not last. I also wonder if the IFP recognise that they’re being turned into cretins by F.face Makoba’s program? Maybe the doofus curriculum of UKZN has already rendered them incapable of realising that they do not even reach the ANC’s abysmal standards and leadership in KZN will, in future, be ANC.

This is a pity, because I live in KZN and between the ANC morons and the IFP morons I choose the IFP morons. Self interest would force them to give KZN a better deal.

Lots of kark going on there..
I have a friend in IT who works there.. he's leaving for another job to get away from it.

This is a major problem. All the good people are leaving (doesn’t look good on a CV to have served at UKZN), retiring (with relief) or flying under the radar because they are victimized or abused if they object to anything. They have written UKZN off, mentioning anything is futile and leads to intimidation. Can’t blame them.

‘Africanisation’ of UKZN continues unimpeded.

Am busy studying there and want to know more.

If you are there, speak to other student’s and staff (they would be close-mouthed) and watch admin. Try and get a ‘Deep Throat’ source to see what goes-on in meetings etc. The academic staff won’t say much – it would be unprofessional and may lead to intimidation (they don’t know who you are). You have been alerted, keep your eyes open.

So far, you seem to be the only person who pops up every few weeks throwing stuff around about UKZN.

Yes we all know there are problems, but you are going out of your way to openly insult the Vice Chancellor.... like you have done mulitple times before.

Aren't the staff striking again? Apparently 8% increase wasn't enough.

I still don't know what the problems are? I haven't noticed any unrest, any problems with lectures, any uprisings. By the way i am studying part time, and have lectures a week a month. If there is a problem i would like to ascertain if there is a possible impact on my course. R35k is not pocket change to repay, and i only study once, no repeats.

I fail to follow this thought process of yours. It's incoherent and confusing.
UKZN and IFP - what exactly connects the two?
The IFP has not been in power in the province or in the DBN and PMB municipalities where the university is located since before UKZN came to being. What exactly are you on about?

Why? Are you a mini-me F.face? Do you need names and sources to intimidate and harass? Dream on.

I **am** the only person who pops up every few weeks throwing stuff around about UKZN. I AM the source. The UKZN stuff-up is quite evident if you can see the workings. A student’s perspective is too limited and they’re too young to have a valid comparison (the before and after experience).

…but you are going out of your way to openly insult the Vice Chancellor.... like you have done mulitple times before.

And an arsehole more worthy of insult is hard to find.

Well I have a friend studying there and he said that yesterday he had to leave because strikers over ran the lecture halls. My aunt is also the head of the Elizibeth Sneddon theatre and from the stories she tells me, UKZN has no hope. Seemingly with all these strikes and subsequent pay increases the university is out of money and so any masters or phd students applying for grants will most probably not get them.

I was at the Nelson Mandela school of medicine this last week and had no issues.

Thats what he does.
