e-Commerce

we use time freight, they have one of the largest footprints I believe. Where do you ship most of your items to?
Frequently send parcels between 40kgs to a tonne with them.

So far our integration consists purely of the customer being able to get the delivery price online. We don't have the option to track the parcel online.

Thanx for the update. Pitty they don't have any e-commerce integrations.

I answered your question a-hole. Those two couriers integrate with eCommerce. Shove your ego up your you know where

Seriously?!?

I asked the OP a very, very specific question and he replied back. Your response was very vague and frankly had nothing todo with what I asked.

It's almost like this:
Andrew asked: "Hey Bob, how's your new car doing?"
and you reply: "The moon has no atmosphere".

I bloody well know those two companies have integrations with eCommerce (that's quite vague as well), but it doesn't tell me how the company the OP chose is doing.

P.S. Isn't the forum supposed to disallow children from registering?

Do you mean the live tracking etc? If you do find a road freight company that does do all of this please let me know because we have also been looking for road freight companies that offer full ecommerce integration.

Well he technically was asking about road freight companies not courier :p . So I wouldn't say you did actually answer it, tho @SoftDux response was a bit overdramatic.

I don't mind about the live tracking, as much as automating the waybill processing and quoting. Some of the couriers have online tracking and you can just type in your waybill number to get updates. This could possibly be automated as well. But I need to move away from manually submitting the waybill info.

DHL does road freight. I mentioned them because he did say he doesn't know which company to use. My post was not irrelevant. Some of the internet ninjas with their master post counts should just calm down a bit.

I see, we use a number of different transport companies, both time freight and dons deliveries allow you to place a collection online, yet you still have to fill in a manual waybill, makes no sense. Sounds like we are in the same boat tho as to what we want out of them.

Excuse the noob explanation but I believe the way our developer did our integration with time freight (we use nopcommerce) was to use the postal codes entered by the customer to run against a spreadsheet that has a the formulas for the delivery price.

Hi,

I know this is an old topic, but I want to find out how it's going with the company you chose for your road freight? I need to use a road freight company for some items as well but don't know who to use, especially when it comes to integrating with an ecommerce website. The items to be shipped could weigh upto 1Ton or even 2Ton.

Hi,

I work for Collivery.net, so If you're still looking for something, give me a shout and I'll put you in touch with the right people. We do everything from door-to-door courier, up to dedicated 18m closed containers.

We also have a few pre-built integrations for Wordpress/WooCommerce, Joomla/Virtuemart, Magento, OpenCart and Prestashop. So if you're using one of them, it should be quite easy. Otherwise you can develop one yourself.

You can find all the info you require here: https://collivery.net/integration/

Let me know if you need anything else.
