E-Mail Client Over Speed Stick

I have a CellC Speed stick, I use it with my MacBook however the email through the mac mail client doesn't seem to update it has a Gmail and exchanged account on it and both don't update, ono;y over the speed stick.
anybody have a idea why or how to fix it ?
