"Our Ref.: CA/G557/05

Dear Mr le Roux,

Thank you for your comments dated 24 October 2005. As you can imagine the public outcry over Telkom's proposed ADSL price changes has been overwhelming to say the least. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding.

Our legal department has made draft submissions on ADSL Services to the Chairperson and we are currently awaiting approval. Said submissions are aimed at resolving some of the controversies in Telkom's intended package.

Sincerely,

Palesa Seseane

So nice to see that our complaints are getting somewhere.

Yup, nice to get a letter saying we are still waiting. And nice letter - no government speak and no typos!

Good to get a reply - could have been 'lost' seeing as it dates back to October.

Waiting.

All just to delay what is required. Maybe the mail were compiled by TELKOM themselves, hehe. Point is how many colloquiums, submissions, seminars, hearings, holidays and overseas experts is required before the useless GVT department called the DOC and ICASSA and ASA and and and will take note. All know and say the same but nobody do what is required. IMHO the GVT will continually bring in experts until one states the status quo is good for ZAR
