Hi All

Having a big problem trying to send very simple mails - error msg that I receive is that the mail has not been sent because it scored too highly on the spam count (can't remember the exact wording).

I would like to contact the ISP to query this but I'm not sure who to call.
I'm using a telkomsa email address, but use Afrihost as my isp and therefore my smtp server.

Is Telkom providing the spam filtering? or Afrihost (smtp.afrihost.co.za) providing the spam filtering?

Thanks

Would be whomever manages your SMTP server, I.e Afrihost.

Afrihost, but you'll find the message isn't comming from your server, it is the recipient's server that will reply with that error

But I get the same error msg from whomever I send the msg to?

Morning!

gfmalan is correct, whilst your mail is being sent using the Afrihost SMTP server, the actual bounce back would be caused by the mail server you are sending the mail to.

Could you possibly post the bounce back message here, or PM it to me, that will help a lot in figuring out what is causing the bounce back.

I had a conversation with PM messages last night, he'll forward NDR to me today if he still battle, or to you now?!
