E-mule Problems

Hello.
When ever i download something with emule, the download just hangs, and nothing happens.
I get a high ID, and the posts work fine ( i have port forwarded and checked them with the server and they say its fine) If i leave it for about 20min, it sometimes will have only downloaded 20 or 10kb. but other than that its idle.
no matter what i download nothing happens.
Please help.

If you've done this already, then I don't have a clue what's wrong...

Only connect to one of the top 2-3 servers on this list: http://www.gruk.org/list.php
Sort your search results by number of sources, if it has less than 10, it'll take forever. 100-200 is nice. Make sure you're connected to the KAD network as well, normally adds a lot more sources who aren't connected to the server you're connected to.

news servers are the best and fastest way to pirate :/

usenext is awesome you pay for what you download though

but atleast your downloads dont idle the whole day

Yeah, but one music group for a specific genre only uses emule.
There ient any were else to get the stuff im looking for.

The music gruop is invite only. PM me if you want details, but they use Emule.

Only use emule 0.47c

Only connect to donkeyserver no2.

Open your firewall and then:

Only use TCP port 4662

Only use UDP port 5737

Always connect to both ed2k and kad newtorks

oh yeah and don't pirate stuff ! only use it for legal purposes!
