They did a "REPLY" weather forecast on Thursday showing the weather for this past mon,tues, and "election day forecast"..

Luckily I missed that.
That's really the problem that faces most 24 hour news feeds. Even channels like CNN/BBC/Sky are not much better in that respect

yeah, true all the news channels repeat... but e's repeat cycle was ridiculous - 15 minutes which equates to 4 repeats an hour. That was crap.

Switched to Channel 403 a number of times and I was really dissapointed in the coverage of the Elections. One would expect they would have a camera covering the numbers on the board as the results were coming in. I got better coverage of the actual votes via News24 which is also confusing as there is a difference in the vote count between a "Provincial Provincial" vote and a "National Provincial" vote. For reference look at the Western Cape where the DA gets 48 odd percent in one and 51 odd percent in the other picture.
Anyway I suspect that is more a case of the way the votes are captured by the IEC than News24.
Just think the 24 Hour News Desk of Channel 403 could have done a better job and made it more exciting. And yes the endless repeats are rather annoying filled in-between with adverts.
I would hazard a guess that they have budgetary constraints? More money being pumped into the Sports Channels.

I got better coverage of elections results via myadsl forums
The moment the results were shown on the IEC boards they were also reported on myadsl. news24 results were about 15-20mins behind

Yes I did have the forum page open which was more up to date coming to think of it.
