So I bought a NAS unit and since I have 2 wireless bridges on my home network, transferring data to it is a painfully slow exercise.

It supports e-SATA though but where do I find an e-SATA cable? I've checked a few brick and mortar stores and none of them have.

Advice?

I haven't seen an e-sata cable with e-sata on both ends, but most monos come with e-sata cables, you could try using the e-sata end into the drive and the plugging the other end directly into your mobo.

I see you're in Pretoria, so you could go there right now and pick one up if they have stock. They close at 13:00

They're a bit far from me...I could always just use direct ethernet to transfer the stuff, it's not urgent.

It's just strange that places like Incredible don't have it in stock...

Incredible Connection very seldom has anything in stock apart from Apple iJunk, Wiiiiiiiiiis, and printers. Not many people use/buy esata cables, they're happy with the unbearable slowness of USB 2.
