E-toll: Sanral will find you

The Kapsch-owned Electronic Tolling Collection company (ETC), set up to rake in e-toll funds from Gauteng’s road users, has started to call, mail and SMS citizens to claim unpaid toll fees.

Be it as it may, I see e-Toll outlets getting busier over the course of the next few days....

fun response to a mail like this.

make me.

set up as a auto response to any mail from that address that hits your inbox....

also Block number from smsing and calling. problem solved

They actually sent me a mail. Still wanna know how they got my email address.

Please be relentless about this, if you didn't provide them your email address, then surely they got it illegally, which can cause them to be in for *****storm.

e-Natis? (Every provided your email address on vehicle registration / renewal documents?)

PayMyFine? (Ever signed up online and paid your fines via this service? Could they have bought previous online services which you may have used?)

Once the Government starts working for the people again (and not the other way around) people will consider paying.

Desperate as ever, I see! :D

You do know that you simply cannot wish things into existence, right? ;)

Just checking.

Ask SANRAL how to pay as an unregistered user within the grace period without going to one of their outlets. They will tell you to wait until you receive the invoice as they have no other payment method for unregistered users within the grace period. Now they are demanding payment without sending out invoices. Brilliant processes and systems. :(

so... almost like responding to a spam mail to stop it, you confirm you are out there,.... if u open a police case are you then not confirming that you did receive the mail / sms, further opening yourself up to contact?
