Sooooo... if members of parliament are appointed to act on behalf of the people of the country, then why do they still make decisions that are completely against the majority of the citizens of the country? Did they not get the memo about democracy...

Oh stoopit question.. just thinking out loud.

“We have a responsibility to collectively build this country and are grateful that there are individual and corporate citizens who see the value of this project and are prepared to play their part in this regard.”

What is the value of this project exactly? It uses expensive technology instead of a fuel levy, while the latter would have been much cheaper. So what is the value of the project?

Just exactly like the old regime
The ANC has learned well from their old masters
In fact the ANC is the NP just a different colour !
