Hi All,
I have a new PC (bout 2months) old running Win 7 64. The E220 worked perfect ly then one day it stopped. The PC/USB connection was lost and the modem seemed to go into a loop trying to connect. I del the software tried another USB port - same result. I had auto updates on and thought that something updated and caused a conflict. Formatted the PC and started again. Modem installed and worked- tuened off auto updates thinking i had found the prob. Read in a thread about the new VMC dashboard and firmware update, did that and all worked well. Today for no reason the system lost the modem again, try as I could i could only now get it to install and run unsing the VMC light software. I have this all on a desktop and live far away from the nearest data centre, it is not an option to load it all up and trek to Voda to try and solve the issue. The E220 is only a few months old and has never given any probs b4. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening or more importantly why is it happening. I was able to repair this particular issue by using the windows system restore point but who knows how long it will last this time round.
Thanks All
