E220 DC as if unplugged

Every so often my e220 will just disconect,remove itself from device manager as if its been unplugged nd then a minute later connect again,is this a bad usb connection or modem problem?

It could be power related, are you using the double USB plug?

Thanx,i changed to a normal usb cable cos the double usb cable is too short nd i get a *** signal nd also nly hav 2 usb ports at the back of my pc nd i use 1 of them for my mouse.

Another question,after bout a month of getting my e220 it wud disconnect after pluging in,everytime.Then i decided to add pin request on the sim nd it stopped doing it.
