E220 on Mac doesn't connect

Hi

When I start my mac up and run VMC, most times I try to connect I get the error :

Internet Connect
Could not negotiate a connection with the remote PPP server. Please verify your settings and try again.

I try repeatedly and generally keep getting the same message unless I
1.rerun VMC or
2.reboot or
3. remove the modem from the USB port and reinsert + rerun VMC

But I haven't yet found a failsafe way of actually getting to be able to connect first time.

Any ideas?

Hi James,

Rather easy. If you have access to a pc insert you e220 into the usb and switch off your pin request. That way you dont need to run the vmc every time you want to use it. Also ensure that you have setup your e220 in your network profiles and that you are on the correct location.
