Hi everyone.

According to an old thread here, it's possible to make the old E220 USB modem work on Windows 64bit.

However I cant seem to find those old files at all anymore.:wtf: Does anyone by any chance have them??

Another post on a different forum said that the driver contained in Vodafone Dashboard v9.1.2 can be made to work.

I can't find that anywhere, either.

I would be incredibly grateful if anyone has the correct software/drivers for this, or an easier solution, this problem is driving me up the wall.

Nevermind, I got this working.
What I did:
I installed a firmware update from Vodacom.
http://help.vodacom.co.za/downloads/E220Update_11.117.09.04.00.B268.zip?checkbox=on&download=Download
Not sure if that part helped anyways. I did the upgrade in Windows XP.

Next, I uninstalled the previous drivers by using the DriverUninstall.exe from the Vodafone folder in Program Files(x86)
to make sure that the old driver is removed.
Next I installed Vodafone mobile broadband, from Vodafone's site.
www.business.vodafone.com
Next, I plugged the modem in, and started Mobile broadband from the desktop shortcut. It installed the modem as a "Vodafone Mobile Broadband Modem," so even though the E220 isnt listed as a supported device in that version of the Mobile Broadband software, it works perfectly with this.

I installed latest firmware in XP SP3. Worked but was blue screening me. Updated to SP1. Everything fine.
