E220 & VMCLite

Hi all,

I just updated my E220 firmware to virsion:11.110.05.00.00 which is recommended for Windows vista and also updated my VMCLite to version: E220_3_2_1_156_standard.

The problem begin after i pluged my modem. My machine can automatically detect the modem and start the set up. During the setup process i get the following message:

Microsoft visual C++ Runtime Library error!
Program:C:\program files\vodafone\vmclite\dataCard.setup.
R6002
-floating point support not loaded.

I have no idea what exactly could be the problem. Could somebody please help?

Hi!

I had the same problem.
The culprit appears to be HP Wireless Assistant.

I killed all processes starting with HP*.exe (I also killed ISUSPM.exe).

In unistalled the VMC software, then reconnected the modem, installed everything again and it worked.


Note: after using the internet and closing the VMC window, I noticed there was the same error dialog as before. But the connection worked nevertheless.

Is this the verion with the Mobile Connect software and not the VMC?
I don't much like the Mobile Connect
