EA discusses gaming toxicity

At Gamescom 2019, EA held its first meeting of the Healthy Communities Player Council, a group of gamers working with EA to address toxicity in gaming.

As part of the meeting, EA discussed its own efforts to address toxicity in online gaming, while the council gave EA ideas on what it could do better.

Loot boxes oops I mean "surprise mechanics" on that list by any chance ?

Nah I think this is all about white male guilt. More diversity and representation in games, less gamers being dicks to each other.

Problem is.... this diversity and inclusion stuff doesn't tend to sell well. EA has been struggling to make profitable games recently, and this diversity and inclusion stuff doesn't help. SJWs whine and complain, but they don't open their wallets even if you make games where the main character is a transgender lesbian black disabled woman. They'll cheer it but they won't pay for it.

"...we will do everything in our power to ensure that everyone is welcome,” said EA.

I don't feel welcome, but it's because of you are looting my pockets dry.

EA hosting talks about toxicity....the mind boggles

If I get 50 bronze cards in a row in FUT you can be damn sure I'm gonna be toxic as hell.
