Ok guys. I need some help here. My nephew got this game for his birthday but he is having some problem to get to run. When we try and run it it gives an error message of security module cound't be executed(7001).

I have checked the EA website but no help there. First I though it might be antivirus software or emulation software but he has none of these types installed on the pc. I have updated the gfx drivers. I think it maybe the gfx since geforce 4 mx isn't officially supported for the game. But I want to try and help the kid get his game running without having to ask his mom for a new gfx card.

So any help would really be appreciated.

Geforce 4 is supported just not the mx. Geforce and above is stated on the box.

But it seems that his only option is to get a new vga.
 
In the end it turned out it was actually securorom and their crap copy protection which caused the game not to run. We tried a no cd patch and the game runs.

Just showed again how the genuine customer gets screwed by copy protection.
 
Had many a game not, run because I have Daemon Tool's, Magic ISO, Alchol 120% and a host of other CD/DVD copying software :D
 
I always use cracks even with genuine games. Rugby 2008 is too difficult for me
