I’m in KZN and I’ve been having endless issues with CISP. I know that they are trying to fix issues in KZN with routing to jhb but it’s just getting too much.

I’ve been in my cancellation order and I realise that a full calendar months notice is needed. Is it possible to have an early cancellation (end of June)? An immediate release would be needed so that I could go over to Afrihost.

If so, what fees are associated with it?

Hi there, what issues are you having? This thread is for escalations so let's start there?

Packet loss, ping spikes, dropped connection etc. this has been going on for months and I just can’t deal with it anymore. I know you guys have had issues in KZN but it’s just having too much of an effect for me to persist with CISP.

Hi, I'm not aware of issues in KZN? Can you give me your most recent ticket number? So I can see what is going on?

I’ve posted multiple times in this thread

I had a disconnect this morning, brief but enough to push me over the edge. I’m tired of opening support tickets and getting the same copy and paste response, so I just don’t anymore.

Can you give me your latest one anyway?

Sure.

Thanks today alone I see 3x lost carriers which means your line is dropping, this is why logging tickets is essential for this sort of thing.

MFN has had a lot of issues in KZN of late, can you log a new ticket for me for line drops and let the team manage it?

Yes MFN has been having issues but that's not my reason for cancellation. My reason for cancellation specifically relates to CISP and your routing issues.

In my time with CISP, I have opened 26 tickets! I feel that this cannot all be MFN's blame. This coupled with the thread above has lead me to my decision.

I cannot ,as someone who relies on the internet for work, deal with having to now submit a ticket each and every time and being asked "what lights are on on your router" or "please plug your computer into your ONT" for the 100th time. I no longer have the patience nor the time to deal with it.

As I have said, I know MFN have had a few issues but that is not where the issue lies. The issue specifically lies with your routing, your providers etc. You have mentioned this a few times in the thread and have acknowledged it as being an issue. I think it's unbecoming to blame it on MFN. If they were constantly the issue then multiple people on the neighbourhood Whatsapp groups would have complained, people on the MBB forum in KZN wouldn't be going crazy etc.

Sorry I don't understand you were mentioning drops, what routing issues are you experiencing?
