Hey...

Just want to ask a quick question...

I am on a procall 120 and i upgraded on the 28 dec 2006...i am only due for an upgrade on the 28 dec 2008, but i read somewhere that you can upgrade within 21 months? so why am i ony allowed to upgrade after the full 24 months? confused:(

If you upgrade before your 24 months are up MTN add the number of months you upgraded early to the next upgrade 'time period'

where's that stated? I've just upgraded after 22 months and my new 24 month period starts from then. This is my 3rd upgrade with MTN on ProCall

i am a little confused as i had a mycall100 which completed its full 24 months on april 2007 but i was able to upgrade within 21 mounths ie december 2006, on hat date i took out a procall 120 thus effectivlly cancelling my mycall 100...but my contact term is still running on the my call 100 term? ie i can only upgrade earliest in dec 2008 but i took out the procall on dec 2006 so shouldent i be running on the new contract term, ie dec06 to dec08 and not on the old my call which would have been april 07 to april 09?

I am a little confused by your post, but from what I could understand of it:

You took out a 24 month contract in April 2005.

You took out another 24 month contract in December 2006.

Your 48 months of contract ends April 2009.

When you took advantage of the "early upgrade" MTN did not let you off the hook for four months of contract, their salespeople just neglected to inform you.

oh haha...thanks...you answered my question, i was under the impression that because i took out the procall 120 in dec, my new term starts from then and not from my old mycall term...thanks

thats how it works

My bad, sorry guys. Guess I have to actually read my new contract seeing as I've upgraded thrice lol. :D

So yeah, upgrading early doesn't give you a discount on the contract term :o
