Early upgrade

Hi there
I am due to upgrade in 2 months, I am currently on the BIS100 and am looking to upgrade to the Smart M plan. However I see Vodacom are running some data specials which expire on 6 August ( http://www.vodacom.co.za/personal/phonesandpackages/smartpriceplans )
I feel the free data increase (120MB - 300MB) offered as part of the special is worth me asking this question...Is it possible to push for an early upgrade in order to take advantage of this special? I assume there is a pro-rata penalty generated, if so how do I find out what that is?
My bill averages around R450pm.

Hi, in 2 months from now will you be in month 22 or 24 of your contract?? Upgrades can be done from month 22.

As far as I know you have to be at least in month 13 of your 24 month contract and your bill needs to be R800+ to qualify for a premature upgrade. Just to clarify, the R800 is for the contract you want to upgrade and includes add-on services such as data bundles etc etc but if for example you have multiple contracts ( 2 phones + internet etc) the R800 refers only to the contract you want to upgrade and not to the combined value of the multiple contracts.

Thanks Franky. I contacted Vodacom Upgrades and after the operator conferred with his manager I was told it was only an option if I upgraded to a higher package. Unfortunately being on a larger contract is an overkill for me so I will just wait it out and buy additional data bundles if necessary.
I must say I was very satisfied with the service I received from the chapwho helped me, had he not had to call me back after the line dropped I would have rated his service tops.
