Earphones for iphone (wired)

Not sure about iPhone support specifically , but In terms of sound accuracy at a budget, Google KZ Acoustics, like the KZ ZTE range. Can also get cables and spares etc. (Pro range ) I haven't tried it myself but have heard good things and when have some finances would like to get a pair. With takealot it is fairly hassle free to return something.

i'm happy to spend around R3.5k.
music is my first and true love

i've got a nest of earphones, most now tired or damaged.
using sure earphones at the moment.
bose - one side is dead.
possibly an all time favorite - klipsch - dog broke the cable (got them on sale for a bargain in ny - b&h) - bwana will know the place.
3 flavours of earpods - all buggered.
and other assorted brands - nothing special.

so its time !!

I forgot some people eat earphones for breakfast. Have had my previous Sony Earphones for 18 years before the wire finally broke.

i'm actually pretty good with this stuff.

notch up one to the dog
another developed a fault
the 3rd was my doing tho !

my father was an audiophile of note.
when he died i took all the audio stuff - got rid of a few things, most i still have - in pristine condition.
i do have a little project in mind - a nakamichi dat recorder, want to fiddle about with it.
i had a sony dat player / walkman & sony mini disk player

see, excellent condition - not breakfast cereal

way off topic - but for those unfamiliar with a dat player / recorder, they work in a very similar mechanical way as a vcr.
here is a dat tape:

had to stick it down with prestik to keep the flap open:

the inside of the player - note the similarity to a vcr

and (happy dance) sell the nakamichi & buy a whole lot of earphones

any recommendations / experience for in-ear earphones for iphone - (wired, not bluetooth).

not too keen on the sound apple earpods produce.
contemplating a lightning to 3.5mm earphone adaptor which will give some freedom of choice regards earphones, but would rather not land up with a daisy chain of cables.

i have a propensity to listen to music at a fairly high volume for extended periods (on flights etc)

so, any earphone (lightning connector / plug ) recommendations

I bought an adaptor like this from chinatown for like R80. Works perfect and you can use whatever quality 3.5 jack earphones you like with it. Once connected my iPhone actually picks it up as wireless buds. I'm not a fan of wireless earphones, these works great.

nay - fraid not !!
whats the deal there ?

disco
investec
nedbank
standard
You can get 40% back if you buy it on their 24month plan or 15% if you buy it outright.

Which puts it in your price bracket.
