Earphones

I am looking for new earphones for my iphone / laptop.
I currently have sennheiser MX 70 sport active ones but they dont impresse me at all. The buds are too big and the cable just does not want to straigten out.
My price range is about R500.
Can you recommend any?
 
I would pay R500 for earphones......it's worth it if you appreciate music.
 
Not me mate - I'm using a R30 pair of Philips :sick:

i had problems with my sennheisers. The plastic fell apart. Sound quality was great for the money but build quality less so.

What's the use of buying R500 earphones if you listen to poorly encoded 3mb mp3 files? You'll just hear more crappy white noise.
 
There's some truth to that. Your average iPod user doesn't need great earphones.

OOOO yes thats why i have to stick cotton wool in my ears turn the buds sideways and wear a scullcap just to listen to my ipod wit my crappy phones :sick: sux but i cant afford comfort then... serves me right :p
 
Razer M100 @ R300. Amazing bang for buck.

Said to be rebranded Sennheiser CX300s.

no where to get them from lol. But if you have any more info I'd be interested - google doesn't turn up anything.

Ok hold on so they're the M100's...good reviews all around.

I've commented in most of the threads about them since I am quite the advocate for them. :D

And sorry, they are the M100s and not the MX100s, I did edit my post earlier.

Yeah I'm pretty impressed. Will try to remember them when I can save up a bit for earphones.
 
I bought the M100's 2 months ago and they are frikin amazing. Comes with 3 different cones so im sure 1 of them will fit nice and cudely.
I will +100 these headphones.

You can find them at zaps(brightwater commons), prophecy shop, sybiatric(spelling).
