Are they completely bonkers?!?!?! R40 for 20c worth of chocolate shaped like a rodent?
 
Dude have you seen those boxes of eggs, 60 bucks!!!!!!!!!!

I have not bought a single box. Pricing is nuts.
 
Hehe, so you weren't kidding in that other thread about how you like Easter Eggs!
 
I bought the kids a bunch of those cadbury' creme eggs. Just have to hide them until easter.

finally, someone who sees what i see.
its ridiculous what we have to pay just because these big companies feel like pushing up prices. they must think we are complete idiots.

how stupid do they think we are?
but, wait!!!
this is a war we will lose, because there are idiots (said with complete and utter respect for said idiots) who will boost the revenue of these companies by buying their overpriced easter eggs.
hence, they will keep on pushing up their prices because there is a market out there. :erm:
 
Yup, not me. I have not even bought my favourite white eggs :D. Been itching for some but this year they can get Fed :D.
 
Haven't bought them in years. They priced themselves out of the market around 2004.

Also the white eggs are my favourite, the beacon ones are around R25 for 6 and the Woolies ones are about R23... bloody expensive.
 
Yeah it's insane. To add insult to injury the Easter eggs in the boxes taste like sugar. You might as well just take a spoonful of sugar and crunch away on that :sick:

Yeah, in the hands of my greedy kids, I guess I didnt hide them well enough. Managed to snag one away from the youngest long enough to take this.

I'd rather take that money and spend it on Ferrero Rocher and buy the kids Toff-O-Luxe toffees :D
 
saw one creme egg for like R10 ... One ****en egg ... Thats crazy ... Really like those creme eggs ... But at R10 ...
 
prices go up each year while they keep making the eggs smaller :(
