Data access for PAYG customers has been down since last night, call center said could take up to 24 hours to come back! They only noticed it this morning cause they "dont work night shift"
pathetic service after being told that i must take out my battery for 5 mins twice, then call back from another phone, and they still wouldnt tell me there was a problem. Told them i have tried the sim in 3 different phones but still wouldnt do a check on data being activated etc
Had to goto mtn sp service center, lady at the front tried to make us schedule an appointment with their 'only techie' to see us later in the day if we were lucky (at what cost i dont want to imagine). Only after much fuss and refusing to take this service they let us see a customer rep who phoned the data help line who straight away told him there is a problem in the whole eastern cape.
Call center agents need drastic training, as does the lady who helps customers get their waiting number
