The Mighty Elephants will be taking on the Bulls at 5pm on Saturday for what will be the last match at Boet Erasmus Stadium before they make the move to the new Stadium.

Is it confirmed that they are moving? That's great news! I'm sure that some people will miss this old stadium, but I say on with progress. I'll most definatley be at all the EP games in the Currie Cup if they play at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium from now on.

Yep - confirmed it with them this morning.

Yep - can also confirm. And yes, I will also be a more regular supporter again.

It's a real pity that this last game clashed with a SWC QF match. Could they not have planned it better? I would have attended just for the occasion!

It is sad, I don't think that many people will go to this last game, due to the WC. I will most certainly be going to Currie Cup games to NMB Stadium though. Now that I think about it, I've never watched a rugby match their, only football.

I found an article on News 24:
Meanwhile, EP Rugby Union chief executive Anele Pamba confirmed on Tuesday that it’s the last game that EP will play in the EPRU Stadium.

The Elephants will play in the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium after the World Cup.

I heard that the EPRU Stadium is being torn down, so I assume that the entire union will move to NMB Stadium, not just host games there. I think this is great though, I hope the stadium rental isn't too high though, we all saw what that did to Bay United. :(

Their new offices aren't in the actual stadium.

They are actually trying to get rid of that name. Since last year's Currie Cup they have simply branded the team as Eastern Province.

Since they changed their name they became useless :D

I remember OP/EP being just that. And they where pretty good, then they just disapeared off the map for some reason.
+1 For the name Eastern Province,
