Easy Equities good or bad?

WTF is this scht. I don't want to be a "thrivalist". Don't treat your clients like children

You dont have to. Reading through the thrive rules.... you just need to be on level 3, not to pay the R25 admjn fee.

So its very simple. This was given beyond poorly over as information to customers

Does the R25 apply across the board or only with certain investments. I only use it for my TFSA.

Also if it applies to the TFSA how will this work in practice down the line when I decide to pull money out? I will need to put in more than I withdraw to avoid whatever the fee is then, correct?

I am finding out.

How most TFSA accounts with charges work, they sell some of your shares or subtract if from dividends

Standard Bank's Shyft app seems pretty good. Okay-ish fees
I use it for US shares. Find it a little expensive though.

5 USD monthly account fee to trade shares. I got charged about 3-4 USD on a 50 dollar US stock purchase

Yeah also wondering.

This mean R25 per account? For TFSA, USD, Normal account, AUD etc?

Please explain?

Do you ever do EE topups? As in move money from your fnb/absa... you name it to EE?

So if you move or transfer R1 in.... that’s all it needs to be done to get on thrive level 3, thus zero admjn fee

And if I have a balance available to invest?
Does that count?

Or must you transfer R1 every month?

I am transferring in monthly. I would even think a balance that triggers interest would be ok. But thats a gamble. Think we will need to test alot of scenario

You guys are asking/taking advice from someone who doesn't actually know and is mostly speculating.

If you are talking about me. The rule related to level 3 is straight forward. I am trying to help. Think there are alot of questions. As alot said already, its poorly communicated.

So what am I speculating?

I enjoy EE, my portfolio aint change. But fees kill growth.

Ok... let me bet you your usd portfolio.

Put R1 in... zero R25 fee

I have double what you have in yours.
