Easy Snacks with hardly any ingredients

How can they call those things pretzels? :wtf:

How is it not :P although they use baking powder instead of yeast
Besides the lack of yeast it's the cooking process that really makes a pretzel a pretzel. You need to parboil the shaped dough with baking soda. Otherwise all you've got is a shaped piece of bread.

Likewise with SA bagels - I keep telling the baker at the spar that cooking a ring of dough and calling it a bagel does not make it a bagel.

I have made my own boiled bagels before which reminds me I must make them again, they are so delicious and chewy.

Well this snack is for pro chefs. 1.) Get viennas and warm up in the microwave 2.) dip in tomato sauce :P

I have made pizza bread stuff before, that was delicious.

You just have normal bread slices and mix some tomato paste/puree with mixed herbs/italian herbs and some olive oil, spread on bread and put cheese on with a slice of tomato, and some olives if you have.

THen put under the grill for a bit.

Do the above, but rollerpin the bread so is flat and dence, then roll into a cigar and seal the ends with filling in the middle -

grill

This isn't a snack, its a meal but uses only a few ingredients: Nando's spicy rice and chicken strips

1) cut chicken fillet into strips and cover with chicken spice
2) Boil a cup of rice with a teaspoon Robertson's Spice for Rice and salt
3) Chop a green pepper into small pieces, and cook it in a little water with the chicken strips.
4) Once the chicken is cooked through, add the boiled rice on top of it and mix nicely.
5) Add nandos mild peri peri sauce and mix again.
If its still too dry or too strong, add a few spoons of mayonnaise

Not quite - its mainly the shape. You're likely thinking of a "Laugenbretzel" which are dipped into a solution and then baked. No parboiling.
