Easy way to rebuild Outlook cache?

I am helping a friend move from plain email webhosting to Google Apps for Work, and he has been using Outlook. We set up Google Apps sync for Outlook correctly, but now he needs autocomplete to come along.

A cursory web search reveals that one has to rebuild the Outlook cache, and I have tried doing it with this tool : http://retrohack.com/fix-outlook-autocomplete/ . But it doesn't work for me.

He is using Outlook 2013 32-bit, as part of an Office 365 plan, on Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Any help would be appreciated... (I might take a day to respond, as my normal work day keeps me otherwise busy till late)

Open outlook in the old profile
Open NK2 edit
Select the save as option and save the .dat file somewhere.
Close NK2
Close and re-open Outlook
Open NK2 edit, you should now see a smaller list
Click "Action>merger with another NK2" and select the file that you exported.
Close Outlook
Click on Save in NK2 edit
Open Outlook again, should now have the full cache
 
Should I be understanding you correctly, you need to autocomplete cache to be migrated to Google Apps? If so, the tool you used here -> http://retrohack.com/fix-outlook-autocomplete/ would have wiped out the current autocomplete cache. It is used in instances where the autocomplete cache is corrupt. Running the tool clears the cache and chances are it is something fancy that simply runs outlook.exe /cleanautocompletecache.
 
I couldn't follow the above method correctly (I probably just suck) and have since moved on... Thanks everyone for your helo, but hopefully suggestions could help future thread lurkers...
