EasyEquities introduces R25 monthly fee

If they deduct R25 from my account at month end, I will sell all my shares and move to another platform out of principal. This is forced and disgusting, and they are about to lose a huge amount of customers and respect!

What other platform will be equal to theirs pre-R25-kak

I have been with them since the beginning, but this will make me auction off my properties and sell off my investments.

I do not wish to be part of their Thrive Sh*t - not even for free.
 
Hey MyBroadband Writers.

A nice idea would be to compare investment management fees across the board; compare what EasyEquities charges, relative to other platforms, and some of the traditional platforms like banks, etc.

Though it is not nice to hear of this R25 monthly fee, something is telling me its not as much as what other players charge - I could be wrong.
 
Probably just the beginning, each passing year they will just increase it with another R25.
 
I wrote to them and said I didn't want to pay the fee. Here is their reply. So pay in R100 per month and fee is gone.

See that actually kind of works for me, I can just setup a standing deposit of R1 to EE and it should be all good. Also would force a person to actively invest more money.
 
I have just over 10k invested in them. Time to pull it out. **** that.
 
Think they did/write this bloody poorly

If you deposit R1, you hit level 3. Then no R25 admin fee

Its purely for dormant accounts
 
Considering how buggy their current site is, this is probably gonna be a cluster **** where you have to prove your level each month to get back your R25 accidentally charged.

Also - how come they only notify certain clients?
