Hi there
I have a question to those using EE.
Example: I bought shares to the value of 15K in one company 4 months ago. It now stands on 20K and I want to sell.
However, EE does not allow me to sell all the shares in one transaction. I go through 8 transactions to get rid of it all.

Why is that?

PS. It does not always work like this

They generally limit the sale of illiquid shares, noidea why though.

However if you call their trading desk, they will do it in one transaction if you so wish.

It's all based on the liquidity of the share. If you call them they can usually help you by quoting a price and filling them all for you, but there's no real reason to bother with that as you will pay exactly the same in fees if you sell them one at a time or all at once.

Phone them. The telephone number is in the message displayed telling you there is a limit.
