Karma's a biatch hey, coming and stealing our cheap eBucks from under our noses

Probably just a glitch but the 500eb tranches they allow normally go through immediately.
No funds was transferred. The guy got the money and turn off his whatsapp immediately.
Will wait till Monday. I was doubting an ewallet since if had ebucks should be fnb to fnb. But maybe thought that FNB might be in error and he needed the cash. Will see till Monday.

Sorry bud you've probably been scammed, eWallet is the scammers choice, that should have been an immediate redflag.

I bought some eBucks from a guy who had joined Mybb pretty recently and had a low post count. I told him I would only buy them if he first sent the eBucks, which he did and then I paid for them via eft. That was what I was going to do with the op if I managed to get to first in line.

Eeish not nice to hear, hopefully I'm wrong and the op comes through.

But another telling thing is the op switched off PM's, which is weird for a new member to do and also a hallmark of scammers because they always want to immediately take the conversation off forum.

How did the op contact you to get your WhatsApp number if not via pm?

He shows as currently online on tapatalk.

I've never had an issue when buying it selling ebucks but then again I would not trust anyone with such a low post count and date of registration on MyBB.

Well reported to FNB, CellC and police. Police is going to wait until Afternoon and the case becomes active. Since OP might just be away from weekend, but FNB has put the ewallet number as investigate atm.

Well op turned off his online status but it still shows when he was last active so you should stop posting info.

Also maybe report op and get him banned.

74 posts and a member for more than a year....
Good to see scammers putting in an honest days work to make some cash!
That's a good point, the op probably isn't a full time scammer just a scaly opportunist.

I'm assuming the eWallet has been withdrawn already?
If so don't you normally get a notification with the location of the withdrawal?

FNB investigator will only know, they will not release that information to me.
EWallet was on his number.
