EC Act's promulgation imminent

I seriously think it's time we start building up a database noting every time the word "imminent" is used in relation to the liberalisation of telecommunications in South Africa.

The word is the best bs detector at our disposal - we see the word, and it tells us that whatever is said in the article, the exact opposite will happen.

The finalising of projects that were in progress, such as investigations into interconnection and facilities leasing, ADSL pricing and mobile pricing will also be phased to ensure there is little disruption in the operations of stakeholders, he says.
operations ---read as profits
That should buy them a few more frikkin years :(

Heres an idea, screw the stakeholders just once FFS, they have been screwing us for years and in real terms they should've foreseen and planned for this armageddon.
To hell with them.

I'm beginning to think that they deliberately use the word imminent to get under our skins.

So.. not only will we awit for maybe up to 6months(last time roy used imminent + in 6weeks) for this to happen they will slowly place restrictions on prices. Where's that shares list again?

they use this word so loosely - one almost expects a countdown of sorts... oooh... wait... hang on.... ... this f@rt of mine is definately imminent!.
