Anyone tried shoving ECC RAM in a PPC Mac? Will it work? (I can't think of a reason not to, but you never know).

Second question, assuming the above works, what are the chances a 2GB ECC dimm in a PPC Mini will work? I know the chipset can handle more than 1GB RAM, so that shouldn't be an issue.

iirc JStrike has a ppc mini - perhaps he might have some experiences worth sharing?
 
I have a Mini as well, but I don't have ECC memory and I'm not about to splash out £150 odd on a dimm if there's a chance that it might not work....
