Echo on MTN Phone

Anyone experiencing an echo when using a MTN sim and receiving a call from a telkom landline?

I have the exact same thing

i have an echo on a telkom phone, which is next to a speedpoint using a sim card to connect... any electric equipment can cause interference

Same here, thought it was a problem with my phone. Then I heard from somebody else that they are having exactly the same problem. Wonder what's up?

Yes, today my dad was calling me from a landline and I noticed this echo.

Phoned MTN support on 808 during the week. Very polite gentlemen listened to my complaint. Told him I am not the only person experiencing this problem. He then said that the technical department will investigate. Have not hear a word from them since.
