ecn licence requirement

I am considering starting a adsl and web hosting business. Do I require an ECN licence or Licence Exemption to do so. Will proabably buy a dedicated server from Afrihost and setup my own cpanel etc. Also will resell IS or Axxess's ADSL products.

The person at Icasa I called said I need an ECN Licence at R12k. Thats alot. Making this business venture expensive

R12K is still cheap.

If you just want to resell ADSL you shouldn't need any licences

For reselling you don’t need any license.
You would benefit from beeing a member of ISPA
