ECOFLOW DELTA 2 battery failure

Well it happened to me. Out of the blue while under light load, this piece of sh-t shut off and gave the red exclamation mark.
I've contacted ECOFLOW asking for an immediate swap out.

Quite ridiculous really. I'll see how good or not good their warranty service is. Anyone have experience with his company?
 
Well I dunno. Initially restarting this thing did not clear the error but after half an hour, there's no more error and the unit seems to operate as per normal. I tried it with a 1000W hairdryer and it worked normally and replicating the earlier operation did not bring up the red exclamation mark. I'll see what their support says about this. Maybe these things "panic" too quickly.

No I didn't panic too quickly. The red ! has returned. There is some sort of intermittent battery fault with this thing. So I'm gonna return this thing to IC or Ecoflow.
 
The Ecoflow South Africa facebook group is quite active, they may be able to help with an explanation.

The manual says it's battery failure and if restarting does not clear it, contact support. So far no response from Support while IC said to bring it in. I took a photo of the red exclamation mark while the thing is not under load even because this thing may be intermittent until it goes catastrophic.
