Does anyone know when we can expect an EDGE capable card from MTN?

What if you don't have a bluetooth - EDGE cellphone? Thats why people need a card

Nokia will be releasing a new card shortly that has EDGE... replacement for the D211.

Hi all,

I am not aware of a Nokia card, but MTN will have the Sony Ericsson GC85, as well as the Sierra Wireless Aircard 775 available shortly - within the next two weeks.

Don't suppose you a rough price and where they could be bought? If it's over R1700, one may as well buy a Bluetooth dongle (R300) and a used EDGE phone (R1400) ...

I am not too sure about price, but once the stock is available in our warehouse, it should become an available stock item that can be requested through any authorised MTN dealer or one of the MTN Service centers. Bear in mind that these products are not typical high volume consumer products, so it may be that the particular Dealer or Service Center would not have stock on hand at the local branch and have to request it from the warehouse.
