edge modem network locked

i have an gprs edge modem through cell c, that is network locked. i want to know how to unblock it myself, or if someone can do it for me

I am curious as to why you would want to help us remove the network lock from the modem? Even if it wasn't locked I would still stay with Virgin but I thought that the networks didn't want you to remove the locks...

I also have the same problem. Thetalogix cannot accept any more mail as the mail box is full!
Cell C (and other providers) should advise clients that the modem is network locked before they purchase. Hoping for a way out!!!

I thought this practice of network locking devices was illegal in SA... or that the networks at least agreed not to do it. Huh?
