Hi,

There seems to be quite a bit of interest in the EDGE PC cards. As mentioned, they should be arriving soon.

If there are any members here that would like to be directly contacted when they are available, please either send me a Private Message or an email with your contact details. I think an email to me would be easier to track, but its entirely up to you ;)

My email address is:
[email protected]

As soon as they are available for distribution we will notify you individually, including information about package options as well as card pricing etc.

I will also do an update in this thread when they are available.

Brett

I don't have final costs right now. As soon as the stock becomes available, I will respond in this thread, and respond individually to the members that have contacted me.

Would it work on same EDGE basis atm? Say I dont wanna go on a big pricing scheme, and use it on my notebook (easier this way than to use phone over bluetooth)

Can I still use out of bundle fees, or the R10 / R100 fees?

Any idea of a new/lower monthly fee/package inbetween R100 and R500 package as another user suggested on another post.

The data from GPRS and EDGE is counted together whether in bundle or out of bundle.

We are definitely working on the idea of intermediate bundles. As I have posted elsewhere we want to find the optimum price points. We do have research which did give us a very specific target price to aim at (I am sure our competitors would like to know that!). We currently only have two weeks of traffic at the new tariffs to check out and there is still such a substantial growth in uptake I am sure people are still coming on board and trying this out.
