Edgemead VDSL upgrade

Hope this is true

Had some Telkom technicians working on lines outside my house. I just had to ask what was happening. They said they were checking the existing ADSL lines and, the good news, they would be installing roadside kiosks (?) in a few weeks time to support VDSL.

They are busy laying fibre up Constantia Main Road in preparation for VDSL cabinets along the mountain... It's so cool to finally see some progress in SA!
