Edimax AR-7284WnA - problems opening certain sites.

recently inatlled 3 of these modem router - only to find certain website were very slow to open if at all.

Thought it was a VOX related problem as all three clients use VOX superfones.

Buy have since found that one of the clinets - using a TP Link - has no problelms.

Have tested it here in my office - with no superfone - and am finding CNN is still slow to open.

Other sites slow to open (when they open include Skype / Microsoft Update.

have updated the firware - probelm still exits - contacted edimax and am awaiting a respone.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

All I can think of is default MTU size is odd on the modem....

Nothing relating to MTU in the router nor the manual. I notied though that NAT is enabled by default. Could that cause the metioned probelm?

NAT should be enabled to allow you to hide your ip behind the public ip of the modem.

OKay, how about the firewall? - by default it too is enabled.
