Educational apps for children

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend educational apps for children to use on a tablet?
My nephew will be 3 in March but feel free to share any age apps you might know of...

I hear of this wonderful app called outdoors, does not even require a tablet

My 5 year old plays GTA on the Tablet, he now knows how to steal my car and when we drive through town, keeps telling me to drive on the pavement!
