I'd like to revamp my computer classroom again and is looking for some suggestions on educational software to be used by kids from grade R, 1 - 7.
I am thinking of stuff like games that practise and train mathematic skills, maybe even a bit of science (grades 4 -7) and also games that can be used to graphically teach kids about computers in a very basic and fun way. Oh yes and also software that has kids practise their reading skills ... very important!!!
And if you know about just a couple of fun games that the kids can play, that's fine too.
If it's free ... good. If it's not free ... not a problem. I have a OK budget to spend on software this year.
So if you have kids at home and they have a good program that they like, please mention it.
