hi,

I am currently living in the UK, I have a property in JHB that I am renting out. This is my only income in SA.
The Rental income is R64 000 and the expenses are about R40 000.

In previous years I submitted as provisional tax payer, my IRP5 was uploaded to efiling by my employer and I added in the Rental amounts and efiling did its calculations.

How would I go about efiling this year? Am I still a provisional tax payer? Do I still need to submit since the income is less than R75 000?

My wife also did the same since we are married in COP. Does she need to continue to submit as well?

thank you

if your income source is not from an employment style activity you more than likely will be a provisional income tax payer

You only a provisional tax payer if your second income exceeds R30,000 profit per year, so you OK for now.

Its been a while since Ive checked these figures, so double check
