Should the "Year of Assessment" be 2009 or 2010?

The only form available to me is a really old one that claims to be for 2009. It contains some details of my bursary money. Thing is the last payment that I got for that was January 2009 .... so I am guessing that this is old information? I will probably have to file it anyway.

I do not see a form for this year yet. Should I just append the information in my ITR form onto the 2009 ITR12 form or what? I am confused. :cry:

are you working?
as per the stake holders meeting - yes filing season will start 1 July 2010.

Thats it. The form will not yet have your IRP 5 Data on it yet as that will only be available from the 1st July. You can however still do your return now BUT, cos SARS have "nothing" on e-filling yet, supporting documents for everything will be requested.

Rather wait & refresh your IRP5 data on the 1st.
